My Tours: Pac West Tour 2005 - Photo Gallery Day 3

This is the hiker/biker trail that goes through Mill Valley and Connects you to Sausalito. Oh my gosh, an actual flat piece of land.  Connie wanted to get the ship behind me, I just wanted to stop for a break. Climbing another Frickin' Hill in Sausalito.  An excellent shot taken by Connie that really shows the perspective of the hills. "You lied!"  is what I said to Connie.  I had asked her if there was much climbing to get to the Golden Gate, "Not much" was her reply. At last, the Golden Gate Bridge, you can actually see it today.
I've made it this far... Now I just need to make it the rest of the way home. After you cross the Golden Gate you go through the Presidio and many parks along the way. Connie and Pier 39 at Fisherman's Wharf in the early morning. Connie takes the lead through the busy Wharf district.

To get to Vallejo you take the Ferry, go to Gate B. On the double hull catamaran Ferry.  It was like a big bus, very comfortable with places to put your bike in the back. A view back at San Francisco. Getting off the Ferry in Vallejo. It's a long standing thing, I've been accused of cycling around California and never getting my feet wet.  It was so hot coming out of Vallejo that we stopped at Lake Herman and I actually got my feet wet, I even got my head wet I was so hot.
Making our way through the Hills of Lake Herman area. Looking at Suisan Bay. Another view of the Bay. Taking in the view South of Benicia looking at the Graveyard of Ships. We still need to get all the way to Cordelia
Now it's on to Fairfield through the farms. Heading into Vacaville, it's late in the day, almost 7:00 pm by the time we get there.
